What you will be able to do
Connect a Thai sound to the Thai spelling, without romanisation standing in between.
Romanisation is a bridge, and the bridge is the problem. Read enough of it and you build a private spelling system that nobody else uses and that no sign in Thailand is written in. This game removes it: you hear a phrase, and the four options are Thai script. At first you will be matching shapes and lengths rather than reading, and that is fine — shape recognition is the first half of reading and it arrives weeks before the second half.
This game needs JavaScript. Everything it tests is on the phrase pages, which work without it.
Common mistake
If every option looks equally impossible, you are not ready for this one yet and nothing is wrong with you. Do a few steps of the Read Thai track first, then come back. The options are deliberately chosen to be a similar length, so you cannot win by picking the odd one out.
