The short version: this site is free, carries no advertising, and collects as little as it can. There is no account to create and nothing to buy.
Two preferences are saved locally, in your own browser, using localStorage. They never leave your device and are not sent to any server.
Clearing your browser data removes both. Nothing else is stored, and there are no tracking cookies.
There is no advertising on this site, no advertising network, and no third-party tracking scripts. If website analytics are added later, this page will say which tool and what it records before it is switched on.
Photographs of dishes come from Wikimedia Commons under free licences, and each one credits its photographer and licence beneath the image. Audio is generated speech, hosted on this site; playing it does not contact any third party.
The site does not currently collect email addresses. If an email list is added, this section will name the provider that processes the addresses, state what you are agreeing to when you sign up, and explain how to unsubscribe, before any form appears on the site.
Like any website, the hosting server records ordinary request logs, which include IP addresses. These are used to keep the site running and to diagnose faults, not to build a profile of you.
Because the site holds no account and no personal data beyond ordinary server logs, there is nothing stored about you to export or delete. If that changes, this page changes first.
